Welcome to Blade & Barrel Barbershop, where modern rustic charm meets old-school barbering tradition. Founded in September 2023, we proudly relocated to our permanent home in Bend, Oregon, in December 2024. Our mission is simple: to provide top-shelf haircuts in a welcoming atmosphere.

At Blade & Barrel, we offer a range of services designed for the modern gentleman and young boys, including standard men’s haircuts, technical styles like fades, tapers and mullets, beard trims, neck trims, and straight razor shaves. Although we do not provide women’s haircuts or coloring, our doors are open to everyone who appreciates quality and style.

Trestin Amato

Owner/Barber:
Hello, My name is Trestin also know as "TA". I became a barber in January of 2021. When I'm not cutting hair I love to spend time with family, hunting, fishing, and watching formula one racing. My favorite cuts to do are: Fades, Mullets, and High & Tights. I also like doing kids cuts as I enjoy interacting with them and am exceptionally patient.
Why I became a barber: The day I knew I was meant to be a barber was when I was in barber school I got to cut this gentleman's hair that was just struggling in life. He just wanted to get cleaned up but didn't have a lot of money to spend which is why he came to the barber school. When I got done with the haircut and asked him how he liked it, he had a tear in his eye and said "I didn't know a guy like me could look like this from something so simple". From that moment on I knew that I had control of how a haircut could make someone feel about themselves and how it could change someone's day. That’s when I fell in love with what I do.

My name is Glenn, but you can call me G! I was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, and relocated to Oregon in 1992. I have had the opportunity to live out some of my passions in life, one being that I owned the first growler fill station in Redmond, OR. My true career was working in the aerospace industry as a salvage welder. After retiring, I was looking for something new to do in life and made the decision to go to barber school and work alongside my son, who is also a barber. I enjoy the socialization that comes with barbering as everyone has great stories to share. The most impactful moments are the transformation cuts. When a client comes in and wants something different and new, I enjoy helping them to find a new style. My goal with each client is that they leave feeling good about themselves.
Hami Sanford

Barber:
With over 7 years of experience, Hami S. is all about creating haircuts that truly reflect their clients’ personalities. Known for a sharp eye for detail and a unique approach that involves asking the right questions, she makes sure every client leaves the chair with a style tailored just for them. Capable of mastering any style or cut, Hami’s passion is not just in the craft but in building genuine relationships with clients. Patient, caring, and customer-focused, Hami is dedicated to ensuring that every person who sits in their chair feels valued and leaves looking and feeling their best.
Nick Acosta

Barber:
Nick is an experienced barber working in the industry for 5 years working in shops throughout the valley, including owning his own. He’s great with straight razor work well as fades and medium length hair.
